Privacy Policy
RAD Pouch is currently completing its company registration. The registered business name, address and registration details will be added to this page once the process is complete. Until then, please direct all questions to care@radpouch.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how RAD Pouch (“RAD”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit radpouch.com or send us an enquiry. We collect only what we need to respond to you and run the website securely.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the enquiry form we receive the details you enter:
- Full name, company name, work email address and phone / WhatsApp number
- Country or region
- Your enquiry type, the flavour and strength you are interested in, an estimated order quantity and your message
- Your confirmation that you consent to be contacted and that you are of legal adult age
If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we receive the information contained in that communication.
Information collected automatically. When an enquiry is submitted, we store a one-way, scrambled version (a salted hash) of your IP address so we can limit repeated submissions and prevent spam. We do not store your actual IP address with your enquiry. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and performance purposes.
We do not ask for, and do not want you to send, your date of birth, government ID or payment details through this website.
2. How we use your information
- To read, assess and respond to your enquiry, including business, wholesale, distribution and customisation requests
- To keep a record of enquiries and our responses
- To protect the website against spam, abuse and security threats
- To meet legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising profiles, and we will not send you marketing messages unless you separately agree to receive them.
3. Legal basis
We process the information in your enquiry on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit the form, and as needed to take steps you have asked for, such as replying to a business enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the website and respond to you, and only as far as needed for that purpose:
- Website hosting and database: Hostinger, which hosts this website and stores enquiry records.
- Email delivery: Resend, which delivers enquiry notifications to our team inbox.
- Web fonts: Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used on this site. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them.
Some of these providers may process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the provider’s contractual and security commitments to protect your information. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It uses your browser’s session storage to remember that you have passed the age confirmation and to prevent the same enquiry being sent twice. This information stays on your device and is cleared when you close your browser.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only for as long as we need them to respond to you, manage any resulting business relationship and meet legal obligations. We then delete them. Hashed IP data used for spam prevention is only relevant for a short period and is deleted along with the enquiry record.
7. Security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiry data is stored in a private database that cannot be accessed from the public website, and access is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:
- Confirm what personal information we hold about you and provide a summary of it
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your information when it is no longer needed
- Withdraw your consent
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity
To make a request or raise a concern, email care@radpouch.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority.
9. Children
This website is intended only for adults of legal age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal age. If you believe someone underage has submitted information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our business and legal obligations evolve, including once our company registration is complete. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
